About Skander Tire Service Inc.

Skander Tire is the area’s preferred supplier of tires for cars, trucks, tractors, ATVs, recreational vehicles, and almost everything else with wheels. We live up to our motto, “The Tire People with a Conscience”, by treating customers how we would like to be treated ourselves. This is the way we have been doing business for three generations.

Rich Skander founded Skander Tire in 1969. He went into business by himself, selling tires out of the back of a truck. Next, he set up shop in a shed behind what is now the Evans City Pharmacy. Finally, he moved the business up the street to its current location.

Rich's twin sons, Rick and Randy, were the second generation to operate Skander Tire. Under their watch, the business has grown to employ over twenty people

Randy's son Alex is the third generation to manage Skander Tire. He continues to operate the business under Rich's old motto--"The Tire People with a Conscience". Alex has expanded the company's offerings to include alignment, inspections, brakes, and other mechanical services.
